Hello all!

If you are like me, you are wondering what to get your mom for Mother’s Day.? My mom never wants anything and frankly she doesn’t need anything.? Every year it’s the same thing – a set of new crossword puzzle books and/or a new nightgown and slippers.? Shoot me if I do it again this year!? At some point it just looks like I stopped trying.

My parents have all the “things” they need.? What I have decided to do is start giving them “experiences”.? That means, tickets to concerts, overnight stays at B&B’s, gift certificates to their favorite restaurants, etc.? Things they can do.?

That leads me to an idea for you – Flea For All flea market field trips.? (Since my mom and I already do this, it’s not a gift for her, it’s a regular (albeit, very fun!) day on the job)??A?lovely woman came in this weekend and bought a gift certificate for her friend in the exact amount of the May 31 Flea For All field trip (now $75, down from $95).? I thought that was brilliant!? Her friend – or your mom – can use the gift certificate to go on the trip or to spend in the store.?

The gift of your time, a gift of an “experience”, what a great gift to give someone?!? We are going to the May 31, Luckett’s Spring Antique Show, and we hope you and your mom will join us.? This is a great show that only happens once a year.? There?are over?100 dealers,?a band, crab cakes and the very best Kettle Korn.? It’s a beautiful setting and the weather is always amazing.
