We are delighted to have our first field trip on the books. After a long pause on events of any kind, we are kicking off small gatherings again, and this time we're taking it on the road. 

Join us on a quest for bread-making know-how on June 12 at Knead & Know. Knead & Know's founder and educator, Melinda Friend, along with our founder Amy Rutherford, will be hosting a special bread-making 101 course for friends of Red Barn Mercantile. If you have long wanted to learn how to make bread then this is just for you!

Fundamentals of Bread is an essential start for students who desire to successfully learn the art of bread baking. In this class, students will make both Focaccia as well as Brioche. Each student will take home finished bread and additional dough to bake at home. Even if you have baked a loaf or two in the past, this class endeavors to ensure you'll pull a beautiful loaf from the oven every time.
