Lime Jalapeño Simple Syrup

This smoky, spicy simple syrup is made from fresh limes, jalapenos, and raw sugar. It is zesty and spicy without an overwhelming level of heat. 

It's about a 5 on a 1-10 scale of how spicy a jalapeno can be. It makes a killer margarita, but it also tastes great with gin, mezcal and vodka. Try it in a paloma or a gimlet for garden-y herbacious notes!
